Have you heard? Ag Mech District Champs 🏆 Our agricultural mechanics team (not all pictured) competed in 11 different skills contests and placed first overall in the district. Congrats to our amazing team! The team competes in the regional ag mech competition on March 19th!

Congratulations to the Vet Science team who not only placed 1st in the district, 4th in the region & made it to the the top 10 in the state on the day of prom, but also spent the night in Paris and got to see the Eiffel Tower at night! Way to go Morgan, Hasti, Taylor & Sydney!

Look at these buttfaces! 🍖 The HHS FFA Meats Judging team🥩 represented Sumner County 4H at the state contest today in Knoxville. Finishing 8th in the state was good enough for the traditional stop at Aubrey’s Steakhouse! Congratulations!

Hendersonville FFA received the Three Star National Chapter Award for 2022. This award is based on the hard work of our FFA officers and members during the 2021-2022 school year. Our chapter will also be recognized on stage at National Convention for their three star status!

Starting out the year strong with our first FFA meeting of the year August 16th at 6pm! Join us for food and fun games!

The highest honor you can receive in the FFA is your American Degree. This October, these 6 alumni members will be part of that 1% of FFA members who receive this degree. Congratulations!

Hendersonville attended FFA Day at the Wilson County State Fair. We had the Annual Ham Breakfast with sponsors in the morning, then livestock judging and public speaking contests in the afternoon. An awesome day celebrating agriculture in our state!

This afternoon we hosted the first inaugural Commando Land Judging Contest. Coach Stephens did a fantastic job organizing and hosting schools across Sumner County and Macon County. Shoutout to Hendersonville Parks for helping prepare Batey Farms for this event.

FFA will be tailgating this Friday! If you’ve paid your FFA dues for this year come stop by for a BBQ sandwich, chips, & drink.

FFA members toured agricultural businesses around summer county! We looked at careers in turf, agri tourism, mechanics and landscaping. Thank you Bluegrass Yatch & Country Club, Long Hollow Gardens, TriGreen Equipment, and Milosi Landscapes for hosting our students!
