Bummed beyond belief about Socko Jones closing, but Socko sent me the signing tablecloth so my convention tables will live on with good CBJ magic.

Socko Jones was the first comic shop I'd ever been to. I was shopping there when I came to visit the US back when I still lived in England, and when I finally moved I would go there every week for 4 years.

Since I've been at college I haven't been around very much, and it absolutely breaks my heart to see them go. Nothing but love to Socko and everyone, rest in paradise Socko Jones

My LCS will always be Socko Jones while I wasn’t a super duper regular Socko and company treated me as if I was. The word community gets thrown around often but with that store community was a huge factor as to why CBJ will hold a special place in my heart. #ThankYou

Brick & mortar stores are becoming a thing of the past. That’s sad to see. We need places like Socko Jones. There’s an inviting charm to mom & pop business where attention to detail\customer service is priority number one. Some thing digital or mega stores don’t care to give.

Thanks for everything Socko Jones I will greatly miss the store and doing events. It was a special community of people who supported art and storytelling. Best of luck in the future. There will never be anotherstote like #comicbookjones
