This week the first palliative care placements for student paramedics in Wales have begun. 2nd year students will now spend one week in an inpatient setting such as a hospice or cancer centre, and one week with a community palliative care team.

Dill really enjoyed meeting new friends this morning, following an invite from Bryncethin Ambulance station. Dill is a great opening for conversation…even though it usually ends up being held at her physical level 🤭😊🐾.

1st day of leave; Dill & I joined the second day of the OK9 wellbeing & trauma therapy dog conference 🐾 . Some great ideas and practice to take away & share, thank you to the speakers & organisers. Fire Rescue Service, Police & Ambulance dogs all represented 😊🐾
