Preview of the opening of my piece for round 4 of the Newgrounds Audio Deathmatch. I ended up settling on a fun and whimsical Halloween-themed idea and am looking forward to finishing this up for the deadline on Friday.

Intro sketch to a new piece I am working on as a collaborative project with some other composers.

Finding ensemble (and solo) string libraries that can do advanced/contemporary string techniques for every section is one of the biggest struggles I've had for composing in recent years. Anyone have recommendations for options?

As an aside: I wonder if AI will be able to emulate this in a way that is effective for composers. Companies like ACE Studio have implemented this beautifully with choirs. I do wonder when/if AI will be effective in doing this for creating alternative orchestral techniques.

Managed to whip this track out in around 3-4 days. I tried to do a sort of pseudo-Halloween themed movie title cue with a lot of the atmospheric elements. Hope everyone enjoys! newgrounds.com/audio/listen/1…
