Peter Schorsch Axios And tops on that list, Naples. Where not only rents are increasing, but supply is extremely limited. A quarterly report showed there were just 92 available units in Naples-area (not including Immokalee, where there were 3) in December.

Especially compared to gas price discourse, chatter on rent demonstrates the chokehold the profiteers have on our imaginations. Rent is one of our biggest bills, yet we've normalized rent gouging. Rents are set based on whatever the market allows. We could change that, actually.
