Interesting only if you’re a mouthbreathing nitwit. Equitable if you’re the ones on the field trying to play actual football instead of gotchya and grabass.

Same 110% effort from the players, full throated fan support, only to have Lucy pull the football away at the last second. As a friend put it, “I know she’s going to pull the ball away so I don’t even try to kick anymore, but she hits me in the nuts with it anyways”

Sounds like the fan base is getting pretty aligned on making the move. It doesn’t make me happy that this is where are, even if it was easy to see coming. Hoops, anybody?

To the folks who have supported Auburn and Hugh from day one, and wanted to just see what product he would put on the field, I have no real issue with you. BUT

🖕🖕to everyone who made it a culture war and equated not vocally promoting this guy as the savior of our program to not actually loving Auburn. This man never deserved this job even if you only look at his FOOTBALL resume. Much less everything else we took issue with.

Coach Malzahn was deemed not good enough and not winning enough games, since then we’ve had a losing record and have never won more than 3 conference games in a season. The players and the fans don’t deserve this

six more takeaways from hearing Hugh Freeze after Auburn's 6-point loss to Mizzou: - what does Freeze believe he can fix on offense? - Jackson Arnold staying QB1 - replacing Connor Lew - outside runs - defense has to improve before Arkansas - keeping the faith in Alex McPherson

“I know how close we are, and I know how I can get this fixed. We’re too dang close, and we’ve got to get a little bit better play and a little bit better coaching at a few spots. I want a chance to fix this.” auburnobserver.com/p/auburn-footb…

Yknow what, I’m willing to admit that Freeze has at least locked in and stayed out of trouble for dumb non-football-related things. His track record with that was a big reason I didn’t like the hire (though certainly not the only reason). So good job, I guess

I promise, unless the next guy actively doesn’t like blue chip recruits, we’ll still have good enough rosters to win at Auburn. The NIL money is here, clearly.
