After sleeping on the beach and an early start to the day, I have made it to St Ives! Stationed myself next to the National Coastwatch Institution station with great views out to sea! Hopefully I might see something today! South West Coast Path Association #CoastingIt

I hope you've all missed me! Been suspended out of this account for too long! Due to having too many accounts! I'm back and you've all missed a hell of a lot! I will endeavour to fill you in with the main parts over the course of the evening! Hope you've had a good bank holiday!

So last you heard from me I was at St Ives. I can confirm that I am now in Weymouth!

The main logistics you may have missed out on.. I am now finishing my walk on September 1st. 6 months after starting, instead of 200 days. Due to being ahead of schedule and a lack of funds to take days off.

The walk from St Ives down to Lands End was fairly bleak walking if I'm honest with you. There was no wildlife to be seen. Barren landscapes to be walked. After walking to Penzance, I had a week back home. Then things started to pick up!

Coasting It patron, Alex, walked with me from Porthleven and after the first day of walking, to Lizard Point, things took a terrific turn for the better!

From Lizard we walked to Coverack and finally a day I had been so longing for came! Wildlife was everywhere! From seals and chough at Lizard, to the star of the days, Risso's dolphins just outside Coverack!

Spoiler alert.. I never did get to see any basking sharks! We came a couple of hours away from seeing one at the bay in Coverack! But with stopping off to watch the Risso's, we missed it!

Next highlight from here takes us all the way out of Cornwall and into Devon. At Wembury I met up with MovingTides SeaKayak and had some great paddling out on the water! Paddling took over pretty much all the way from here to Hope Cove! One day of calm water and the next a lil choppy!

And just off of Burgh Island I completed my dolphin hatrick! A huge pod of common dolphins came in to feed and they put on quite a show! Unfortunately I didn't have my camera! So this is just a little of what I caught from my phone!

My journey has come to an end. What an incredible 6 months it has been! Unfortunately, my phone has decided to stop working! So I will wait until I can get to my photos that are on it before giving a proper finishing update, but i can confirm it is now all over! #CoastingIt
