We cannot balance this budget on the backs of New York City students, educators and families.

We’re calling on elected officials to save essential NYC Public Schools services currently funded by temporary COVID-19 $$ that run out in June ‘24. This includes #NYCCommunitySchools. The risk to these services are on top of the $600M in cuts to education from Mayor Eric Adams’s recent plan.

Education for young people at all levels is one of the best investments we can make for the success of families and the future of our state, but our schools are facing the expiration of significant federal stimulus funds. We must increase our commitment to these vital programs.
