Jump Rope Professional Development! We had a blast working with the PE teachers from Brevard County! We worked all day breaking down skills, providing tips and more in single rope skills, partner jumping, long rope and double dutch! They learned a ton!! Thanks Rachel Winsten!

“Pushing” out the cold weather with this great teamwork activity in #PhysEd! Students used force to push scooter to mat and make the ring slide and land on polyspot to earn points. Had them do it in a push-up position to focus on muscular endurance. Thanks Randy Spring for idea!

Played “Beat the Ball” today and the students absolutely loved it! Work together to pass the ball down the line and back before the runner. Simplified it for younger students by using a bean bag, closer distance, and less students in line! Thanks for the idea @charteroakpe!

Shout out to Summit View Elementary's Student Wellness Awareness Group (SWAG) who showed off their talents by performing a cardio drum routine before the Nuggets game on January 17th! They performed the drum routine using buckets, balls, and drumsticks. Way to go! #myDCSD
