One thing that I think people are missing about the portal is that a lot of players are sent into the portal by their coaches, often because they’re not good enough to help them win. The assumption is, it’s players leaving by choice, that’s often not the case.

For the people who keep making jokes at the players in the portal avg 3 ppg. It’s not always players decision, schools aren’t wanting to develop what they once desired.
