9-year-old Carter has cancer. One major thing on his bucket list is to join the Bear Basketball Head Coach Jason Porostovsky team. Tonight, he got to check that item off the list. My goal for April was to do a 60 mile run challenge, on top of my at home workouts, and I finally completed it today! Are these fast times? Nope, but it’s progress... so I’ll take it!

A lot has changed in a year! April 2019: I was 205lbs- felt terrible, could barely run a mile without stopping, had a big gut April 2020: I’m down to 160lbs- ran 62.1 miles this month, worked out 27 out of 30 days, and feel/look the best I’ve felt in a long time!

Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family of Carter Escobar. He became an honorary Fort Worth police officer on February 20, 2020 and we will certainly miss him. #RIP buddy.
