Coaches Corner Chats with Kieron✌️ I lean heavy on TOVO principles which are centered more around team then individual. Then freeze when player loses the ball and have the free teammates raise their hand showing they were open. All this to try and manufacture an environment that forces team play.

Coaches Corner Chats with Kieron✌️ Same as coaching any player. Get them what they need. You may only have them for a short time. All players should be able to see both, the team and themselves.

HS Soccer Coaches … How do you select the number of players for your rosters? Fixed number going in? For the roster to player evaluations?

Coaches … Which is harder? Letting players know that they are playing JV+Varsity (swinging)? These players always feel they should be straight varsity. Or Letting players know they won’t be a part of your program.

Coaches … do you ever not get nervous before a match? Today’s only a summer friendly and my stomach is in knots! lol!
