These are the things people won’t believe unless they see it. North’s program is as classy as they come, they play the right way, and people still do this stuff. It’s an attempt to break them because they can’t beat them. Black Kids DO NOT deserve this. Minnesota State High School League we need some action

In sports, few things are more important that having a straight-forward understanding of yourself, your work habits, your coachability, what you can do as a player, and what you need to work on to get better. The players that do this best, improve faster and play better.

Players want benefits without buy-in. It always pains me to skip over one of my guys for an opportunity I know they’d appreciate, but if I offer those things and our basic conditions aren’t met, I’m communicating to them that our standards and values don’t mean anything. #BuyIn

We’re proud of our big win. We celebrated it, we watched the tape, we saw so our mistakes, now it’s time to get better. The best way to get beat is to get comfortable. We have a tough team coming to HP this Friday, we’re locked in. #TogetherWeWin

Nice way to open the season. Coaches, our guy Shea is extremely underrated, he’s a great route runner, excellent punt and kick returner and is incredibly reliable. The tape don’t lie!

Things you can control in games: • Effort • Attitude • Self-talk • Attention • Execution Things you can’t control in games: • Winning • Refs • Fans • Your opponent • Bad luck • Weather • The past/future To play your best, focus only on what you can control.

Last week it was 87 YD opening RETURN for a TD, this week it was a 90 yd opening Return for a TD. Tough loss, but so proud of our guys for committing to special teams. In two games we have two kick returns for TDs, a blocked Punt, and a blocked PAT. That’s Buy-in from our guys.

Seriously. People think they know the game better than they really do. They don’t know the ways you have to construct things to hide a weakness and amplify a strength, or game plan around injury or inexperience. They see the surface, but it’s the tip-of the tip-of the iceberg.
