If a Coach reaches out to you please respond even if it’s not the level you are looking for. I can tell you that you don’t know who that Coach knows nor where they will end up. Just saying…

John Stockton, Utah Jazz, HOFer. Funny how some NBAers call him "dirty". Dirty b/c he was fierce & wouldn't be bullied. Calvin Murphy was same way, nasty competitor that few messed with. Stockton won many a battle head to head w/ those couch-sitters & maybe that was the issue.

Just talked to a peer college coach about players being coachable! This is becoming a super lost skill! Parents telling the kids different things, or creating a false reality. We want kids who want to be coached, who want to be held to standard! Coachability is a skill!

Coaches, If you don’t or can’t teach the Roll Seal ( Gortat) or the Duck In to create driving angles and openings for driver to see daylight to the Rim, you are leaving 10-14 + points off the Scoreboard every game. Learn it. Teach it. Apply it. Drill it. Win with it.

3 Requirements for Great Player Development Coaches: 1) Establish a long-term plan and set standards. 2) Teach. Show examples. Teach some more. 3) Hold the player accountable.
