New Seasonal Drought Outlook by NOAA’s NWS Climate Prediction Center A potentially robust monsoon may help the Southwest. The East, S. LA, C. AK, and PR may also improve. Drought may develop in CO, parts of the Plains, and an area running from the Midwest to the South. Otherwise, drought persists.
