While working at the Science Museum, our design team came up with the idea of the 'Saints' case; opening the showcase in two halves, in opposite directions on high capacity precision machined slide mechanisms to support the cantilevered load.

Today #WeRemember the Holocaust as it marks the 75th anniversary since the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. In 2019 we worked with kubik maltbie to deliver custom display cases to Holocaust Museum Houston which houses & preserves the memories of all those affected.

Whilst working on the Medicine Galleries Science Museum, Wilkinson Eyre Architects designed 4 massive wall structures to help delineate the gallery space. Each wall is made up of an array of solid sections interspersed by two Click Netherfield full height double sided showcases.

In 2010 we supplied 4 large custom table top cases for the display of the University College Dublin’s special collections exhibition programme which features collections of medieval manuscripts and early printed books, notably from the C.K Ogden Collection and Graves Library.

While working on the Medicine Galleries at the Science Museum, we installed a series of large recessed wall cases along the outer walls of two of the galleries. The largest which is 13m x 2.6m x 1.2m, has 9 full height hinged doors to allow access along the total length.

Happy Birthday Charles Dickens! On this day 208 years ago, one of the world’s most beloved novelists was born. 📖 In 2012 we supplied a number of showcases for the Charles Dickens Museum in London; all specially designed to be integrated into a number of period furniture items.

Conservation is at the heart of our case design, with a focus on lighting. In 2007 we supplied several cases to our clients at the International Slavery Museum in Liverpool which featured low-reflective glass, and custom fibre optic lighting, ensuring the protection of their objects.

2020 marks the 80th anniversary of the #BattleOfBritain, and The RAF Duxford was a key Airfield. In 2013 we supplied several cases to the Imperial War Museums Duxford, which was the first RAF squadron re-equipped with the Supermarine Spitfire – a famed aircraft used by the British at the time.

In 2019 we used 9226m² of glass for our showcases - just under the size of a large football pitch. Our glass is specially made using Pilkingtons Float Process - established in 1952 - and is then sprinkled with magic to reduce reflections and make it almost invisible.

We are proud to have supplied all the showcases for the ‘History of Kuwait’ exhibition at the Al Salam Palace Museum in collaboration with Studio MB and the fit-out contractors, City General Trading & Contracting Co.

#ThrowbackThursday | In 2000 we supplied 15 circular display cases and 8 wall-mounted cases to the Hat Works Museum in Stockport which houses over 400 hats from around the world. The cases were customised to ensure the conservation of the more delicate items in the collection.

#ClickGlobal | Since 2016 Click Netherfield have been appointed three separate times by the Asian Civilisations Museum to install showcases as they continue to develop the museum through the creation of new galleries which specialises in the material history of China, and Asia.

#ProjectUpdate | We recently completed an installation of 27 showcases with our American partner, kubik maltbie, at the HuhuGam Heritage Center. The center pays tribute to the Gila River Indian Community and ensures the preservation of the Akimel O’otham and Pee Posh Cultures.

#ClickGlobal | In 2014 we worked with Kvorning Design to supply a number of frameless showcases with high-class environmental control to house the growing collection at the Norwegian Armed Forces Museum which included uniforms and weaponry; which date back to the early 1800’s.

#Conservation | At Click Netherfield we have a reputation for meeting the highest standards of conservation and our quality management team regularly carry out air exchange testing at final assembly stages in our factory and on-site as part of our formal handover procedures.

#ClickGlobal | In 2010 we were commissioned to design, manufacture, and install over 200 custom display cases to the Israel Museum which underwent a massive upgrade and saw the addition of new galleries which displays a collection of work dating from prehistory to present day.

#ClickGlobal | In 2018 we were commissioned to supply 31 various custom-made showcases to the Gateway Arch National Park for their new exhibitions, designed by Haley Sharpe Design, which includes an impressive collection of artefacts from the famous Lewis and Clark expedition.

#ClickGlobal | We were commissioned to design a series of custom-made showcases for the Byodo-In Shrine, a famous Buddhist temple and UNESCO World Heritage Site, and houses some of Japan’s most precious national treasures. Each showcase was built in the UK.

In 2015 TESS Demountable provided a range of free-standing cases to the Whipple Museum of the History of Science. Each case was supplied with low-reflective, almost invisible glass which provided an unrestricted view of the globes and revealed their intricate surface details.
