My 8 year old understands democracy and the constitution- how is it our “leaders” do not? When the news reports the last time this happened was with the British... this tells you our current leader does not have America’s best interest at heart.

Testing should not be a priority this year. Our focus should be on our students, SEL lessons and their mental health- not a standardized test!

Stop #2- My GHHS AVID seniors just fell in love with Chico state- 8 hours from home. A GHHS c/o 22 AVID graduate gave us our tour- Once AVID family, always AVID family. 12 colleges left to see! AVID Apple Valley Unified School District #avid4college

Day 2 adventures- Sacramento State… then UC Davis… and finished at Sonoma State. Best part of the day was our students talking about where they see themselves and adding colleges to their list! We had 2 of the 3 tours given by GHHS AVID graduates! Apple Valley Unified School District AVID
