The Rt. Hon. Speaker Hon. Christopher Nakuleu and the Clerk Mr. Linus Miinyan this morning met departmental heads of the County Assembly Service. The interactive session was geared towards structuring ways of enhancing effective and efficient service delivery of the Institution.

I was with the Turkana County Governor during official opening of the third County Assembly of Turkana yesterday.

The Speaker Hon. Christopher Nakuleu held a brief meeting with AMREF Kenya Country Director Dr. Ndirangu this afternoon. They discussed a number of issues touching on Health systems strengthening through effective legislation and oversight.

The Committee on Appointments Chaired by the Speaker Rt. Hon. Nakuleu has kicked off vetting of CEC Members nominated to serve in the Turkana County Executive. First to be vetted is the CEC nominee for Public Service Administration and Disaster mgt., Mr. James Longole Wangiros.

The Speaker & MCAs today graced the swearing in ceremony of the CECMs who were vetted & approved by the Assembly. Hon. Hon. Christopher Nakuleu urged the CECMs to serve the Turkana people diligently.

The Speaker Rt.Hon. Christopher Doye Nakuleu led a host of MCAs in celebrating the Mashujaa Day at Kalokol whose theme is "Universal Health Care".

GVN Lomorukai: In conclusion, I wish to reiterate my appreciation to the Assembly for the good relations fostered with the Executive. I am proud that the house is unanimous in its support for the unity agenda and I promise to continue working with all MCAs.
