Today we reopened Todt Hill - Westerleigh Library for Sunday hours due to the restoration of public library funding in this year’s budget after successful negotiations between the New York City Council & Mayor Eric Adams . This is one of the busiest libraries in the NY Public Library system & happy to see it back on Sundays

Today I was invited by Reverend Al Sharpton, Mayor Eric Adams & our city’s religious leaders to unequivocally condemn the attempted assassination of President Trump. As the Republican leader of NYC government. I was glad to stand with them in a clear denunciation. Here is what I said.
