Very excited about my new position as head of the diagnotic unit IVI_Switzerland, the swiss national ref lab for most epizootic viruses, where i started 1st of september. It is also nice to return to Universität Bern, where i studied and started my virological carrier.

As a one of my first "lines of duty" as head of the diagnostic unit of IVI_Switzerland , i'm participating in the annual meeting of the European reference labs for foot and mouth disease in paris. A very instructif meeting and great networking opportunity!
