Annette took a moment to consider his offer. It wasn’t like the type of treats that she usually enjoyed, however, if Mercie and His Highness liked it, surely it couldn’t be that bad! She finally nodded her head in response. “Well… maybe just one bite!”

Annette graciously accepted the weeds, pulling out a single one and examining it before placing it in her mouth. It had an earthy flavor, which was expected. Still, it wasn’t terrible and the invigorating effects were perfect for long study sessions! 7/10 would eat weeds again!

“But that’s not— Wait, are you here to analyze my lyrics again, Claude?”

“…!” Annette jumped a bit before spinning around to face the source of the voice. She had not realized that anyone had been listening in. “H-Hubert… you scared me!” she exclaimed, letting out a relieved breath. “… And just ‘Annette’ is fine.”

Despite the excitement last night, Annette was up bright and early tending to the plants in the Greenhouse! She was as diligent as ever.
