The handyman quote: $10k, est. 3 weeks (history indicates it’s really 2 months), you buy materials, 2 guys & a truck, handshake deal The contractor quote: $21k, 2 weeks w/penalties for delays, they handle everything, PM & subs, formal contract One costs more money One costs

No, I won’t pay you for hiring a sub that installs flooring w/o following the manufacturer directions that completely fails <2 weeks later (glue down LVP peeling up everywhere) If your SOP is to NOT follow the manufacturers instructions and check for moisture levels in concrete

Schools have a captured audience of parents every day at pickup and drop off, often 20-40min or more A lot of that time is parked in line with engines off If they partnered with a food or drink vendor with a bike or cart that could travel up the lines, I wonder how much money
