An smart idea that is underutilized. Lowe's sells appliances & provides installation thru 3rd parties. Part of their process is to have a pre-install / pre-final purchase home inspection to insure that everything will happen smoothly. But, they don't adequately market this.

Imagine the increase in appliance sales that Lowe's could achieve, for a small cost, if they simply had a poster that clearly visually described their process and it's inherent benefits displayed in each store. They know how to provide a near painless service but it's a "secret"

Based on the reinforcement that they previously have received, people adjust their artistic works. Trying to let go of the desire to be part of the socially perceived reality takes courage and self confidence. An artist needs to have courage and be true to their on vision.

Inertia is anything that has to be overcome before you can achieve your objective. Inertia is anything that is standing in your way. There are good forms of inertia that act a tail winds but in general we're talking about drags and road blocks that scream don't get started.

Because something is popular doesn't make it true, because something is unpopular doesn't make it untrue. A mob may have a loud voice, but that doesn't mean that what they advocate is appropriate or true....

Social media amplifies the mob's viewpoint but that doesn't confer legitimacy or validity to what is being presented. Perception is reality and when perception is clouded and influenced by the loudest voices and not by truth or facts, that is dangerous.

Before you find yourself getting in line with a loud vocal mob, ask yourself, "historically are there any good examples of when the mob produced productive positive results?" Herd mentality usually leads to disastrous bad decisions.

Anyone who has ever implemented a successful innovative change, can tell you stories of mindless mob resistance every step of the way. Ask yourself, " before the success happened, why was the mob predicting failure and doom?" Herds never create they only resist.
