24 hours over on the other place & I can’t tell you how refreshing, enjoyable & liberating it feels. And oh joy joy joy the absence of abuse & hate… Try it. If even an old dinosaur like me can manage it, anyone can 👌

Everyone deserves a warm, well-insulated home with affordable bills. The Warm Homes Plan will help 300k homes cut costs & embrace cleaner heating. Last week I visited LoftBoarding , a local business improving 160+ homes/month. I’ll fight for Telford to get its fair share £.

The Govt has announced a provisional local govt settlement of £69bn - a 3.5% real-terms increase for LAs. Contrast between this Labour Govt and 14 years under the Tories I saw as Telford & Wrekin Council Leader & Local Government Association (LGA) Chair couldn't be starker. Good to have a Govt that cares again.

Despite all of the challenges - legal and meteorological - we did it! After 40 years of damaging deregulation, Greater Manchester has this morning successfully retaken control of the whole of its bus network. 🙌🏻

Today Sergii Marchenko and I signed the UK-Ukraine Bilateral Agreement to deliver £2.26bn of new funding to Ukraine. This will be repaid using profits from sanctioned Russian sovereign assets. Action, not just words - Britain stands with Ukraine. 🇬🇧🇺🇦
