Vaxxed to the maxx* * well second shot done. I’ll take a booster when it’s needed. Only painful part was wearing my easy-vaccess tank top on a very chilly winter morning. ❄️

If I were on the #beachhandball team I’d grow out my pubes really really long and fluff them up so the poked out the sides and over the top of the stupid small-bum bikini bottoms and then see if the committee still wanted to fine me for wearing shorts.

I always feel sad hearing people talk about valuing education by paying thousands for private school. That isn’t valuing it. Why not show a little faith in gov schools? - accessible to all. Nicer to mix with kids from diff socioeconomic backgrounds anyway.

According to ABC News there are fears that coronavirus is circulating undetected in St Kilda. Meanwhile this poor bastard has been waiting patiently for hours for his COVID swab. #covidaus

There are no plot spoilers to the film in this essay, as I haven't seen it yet. This was supposed to be a background teaser for the film, though I don't give away much about the poem's plot either! The poem behind the Green Knight pursuit.unimelb.edu.au/articles/the-p…

Heading into the third year of the pandemic feels grim, but there's been worse. We dip into the #UniMelbPursuit archives for experts' take a look at some of the other thoroughly difficult years in human history – and how we made it to the other side → unimelb.me/36eYaVJ

Excellent presentation by @babybumpproject on managing menstruation during Antarctic fieldwork. Nuts to hear that fieldwork guides didn’t include info on what products to use, how to carry + incinerate them nor how to change pads without freezing yer bits. Terrible taboo #GSWC22

Adventures of The Schlong (tromboncino zucchini): Today I harvested and cooked some early autumn herbs and veg. The Old Schlong still lurks in the garden. I’m waiting until it looks like something I could take to a Wallace and Gromit vegetable fair type thing before picking. 🍆

The schlong lives on! Excited to pick up my copy of peppermint magazine where I’ve written a little piece about being a novice gardener and taking on tromboncino zucchini. Delighted to get the word schlong in print.

Gingerbread constructions 2019, 2020, 2021. After the COVID years and some hyper-local landmarks, we’re heading overseas again for 2022. What will it be? Apologies no new Level Crossing Removal Project this time even though the new Preston Stn could be done nicely with liquorice allsorts.
