🚉 The level crossing at Balcombe Road, Mentone was removed by lowering the rail line into a trench, with the new Mentone Station and landscaped heritage gardens opening in July 2020.

🚗 The new Brunt Road bridge is now open to traffic, one year ahead of schedule!

On Wednesday, Brunt Road, Beaconsfield reopened to traffic – with vehicles traveling over the new road bridge one year ahead of schedule.

🚉 We removed the level crossing at Clyde Road, Berwick in February 2022 by building a road underpass.

🌱 We also upgraded the station precinct and planted over 37,000 trees and shrubs.

💨 Setting the pace at Pakenham!

🚆 3 sets of boom gates will be gone, and 2 new stations will open in Pakenham this June!

🏗️ Buses will replace trains on sections of the Pakenham Line from 9pm, Friday 17 May to early June.

These steel reinforcing cages connect to the pile cap, and a mould is then placed around the cage. This mould is then filled with concrete!

🚜 Crews continue to lay 2400 tonnes of asphalt on the new road bridge over the Pakenham Line.

❌ To allow these works to be carried out safely, Brunt Road is currently closed.

👀 Check out the recently installed solar panels and station signs at the new Pakenham Station.

🚉 Pakenham Station will have 80 solar panels on its roof, a 27.6 kWh solar panel system which will power the station.

The new Narre Warren Station is now open, following the removal of the Webb Street level crossing in December last year.
