Question #avgeeks! Found one of these on eBay off of G-BDXL 747-200 ending it’s life on TF-ARF. Just wondered where it’s located in cockpit? (if it even is)!!

I was very fortunate to be able to take the company vehicle for a spin yesterday to carry some essential freight, and even more lucky that our evening landing Heathrow Airport was caught by BIG JET TV. Isn’t the Airbus #A350 a beautiful looking jet. #avgeek #aviation #london

So nice to get the virginatlantic 747 at this angle for the first time. G-VROY arriving at Manchester Airport this evening from Glasgow to join the other retirees. Shame to see these leave the fleet early #avgeek #aviation #virginatlantic #boeing #manchester #prettywoman #photography

Very sad to see LIAT (formally Leeward Islands Air Transport) is to be liquidated, for not the first time in its history. It started out as a subsidiary of BWIA, at that time owned by BOAC until 1967. Then 75% owned by Courtline until their 1974 bankruptcy, hence HS748 liveries.

It appears the LIAT name may yet live on again, in a new airline to be created by the governments of the various Caribbean islands to which LIAT provides such vital air links.
