Page County has another positive COVID-19 case. The patient is 18-40 years and contracted the virus via community spread. Patient is at home in isolation.

Work will be done on 110th between Iowa Highway 48 and G Avenue. The road will be closed and there is no marked detour. Work is expected to last from May 5 to noon, May 7.

Voicemail at the Clarinda Police Department and Clarinda City Hall is not working. Information Technology is working on the problem. It is unknown when the system will be restored.

The temporary black drop boxes will be removed from both entrances of the Page County Courthouse at the end of the day, May 6. A new, permanent blue drop box has now been installed on the south side of the courthouse.

Page County Public Health has confirmed the 11 COVID-19 case. The person is 18-40 years old and is recovering at home. The department also states 10 of the 11 cases have recovered.

Page County's 12th COVID-19 case is a health-care provider at Clarinda Regional Health Center. This provider has been working with patients exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 but has not been in contact with anyone who has tested positive.

Page County has identified a new Covid-19 case. This patient is between the age of 61-80 and is recovering at home. Eleven of the 14 cases in Page County have recovered. There have been 607 Page County residents tested for COVID-19.
