This really is very sad news. Chloe was such a generous supporter of women (including me) into leadership roles in our sector. She made an outstanding contribution in her own right and taught us all so much. She will be missed. Vale Chloe Munro. Xx

Want one report to rule them all (and let’s face it there are a LOT of energy sector reports!)? Well this is it! Happy Reading…no more printed versions in case you are waiting for that.

In a first for the energy world - we have a FOUR page (!!) consultation paper to elicit views on how to make energy bills simpler & easier to understand. Plus some really interesting behavioural insights research to digest…based on surveying over 14,000 energy consumers.

NEM needs to rapidly transition if we are to reach our climate goals. We also need to keep the lights on and keep electricity affordable. I spoke with ABC’s Patricia Karvelas on importance of new markets and new investment to ensuring consumers are protected. abc.net.au/radionational/…

How is it that nbn® Australia can arrange for the disconnection of my Telstra cable broadband service without my consent so that we are now forced to switch to nbn® Australia? We’d never allow that in energy….plus we can’t speak to a human Telstra to get it back on!

As a female leader and a leader of women it is critical that we fight to #breakthebias not just today but everyday. May we always challenge our biases to ensure we can all bring our whole selves to work and be supported to deliver our best!

I’m simply delighted that Jim has been reappointed for a further two years. Jim’s patience and kindness along with his insight and perspective are deeply valued by me.

Yesterday, I shared some insights @ #FCAConference2022 on transition to reliable, affordable and sustainable energy, particularly through the lens of consumers experiencing vulnerability. We’re here at Booth 45 supporting financial counsellors in their efforts to help consumers!

We may seem focused on wholesale and retail markets right now but this is an important draft decision on Rate of Return on Investment for networks over next four years. Well done to AER Networks team on this important milestone and many thanks to stakeholders for critical input!

Energy prices could soar by as much as 32% next year, but Australians have been told not to expect cost of living support in the budget But, in a new report, the energy regulator is looking at how better to support vulnerable households Clare Savage abc.net.au/radionational/…
