Dear academic friends/colleagues, please share our call for nominations for the Journalism Studies / ICA public engagement award. Honored to serve once again on this committee. It’s a joy getting to read about the incredible work you all are doing, but please help spread the word!
Journalists and scholars interested in improving the precarity of journalistic work - Valérie Bélair-Gagnon, Avery Holton, Mark Deuze, Claudia Mellado and many more address these issues in an edited volume that I was allowed to review for JMCQ.
An academic first for me! Co-editing this thematic issue with the stellar duo ✨Scott A E II & Frank Harbers✨ I learned so much about the process, and had a chance to think about change and innovation in new ways as captured in all of the authors' brilliant contributions 🙌
