Getting back into Brian McClellan Powder Mage novels. Sins of an Empire is wonderful and so easy to get lost in. Bodes well for the rest of the trilogy. Think of a film noir with ass-kicking gun-toting mages, spies, investigators, lads who love their mum and it's awesome.
