🥁Targets for 2° prevention are LDL-C of ≤ 2.0mmol/L, or non-HDL-C of ≤ 2.6
🥁If on max tolerated dose of HI statins & target not met, consider additional LLT (TAs)
🥁Consider ezetimibe (+ max HI statin) even if target met, to ⬇️ CVD risk further

Lipids are hot stuff at the moment. I have been fortunate to be part of the National Lipid Programme with Soar Beyond Limited. I have put together a leaflet for patients to help support lipid management. Feel free to like and share 😊

A pharmacist is not a doctor. We have our own distinct skill set that we are very good at. If I wanted to be a doctor I would have gone to medical school. The supply of medicines should not be seen as something we shake off as a profession. It is an integral part of our service.
