For Halloween, the family cuddled on to the sofa and watched movies. Did you know Halloween (1978) can be viewed as a comedy? The 12 year old was confused by why she kept dropping the knife. 16 year old almost spit out his soda when the neighbors didn't answer the door.

Because I don't have enough anxiety today...

I am ok, numb. My 16 year old is devastated. Trying to tell him that democracy is a constant fight. I am worried about a trifecta. If the affordable healthcare act is overturned and cuts are made to social security, Medicare, Medicaid, it will be devastating for my family in US.

I should get a fucking medal for somehow teaching a short story about feminism this morning (it's our curriculum here) while not completely losing my shit after what happened yesterday.
