Having access to quality financial advice by means of investable assets only is like telling someone they can’t work out at a gym without having a minimum bench/deadlift/squat.

The other key point: you must build technology to facilitate and streamline processes around inv. mgt. (remember, inv. mgt. is part of the “back-office” that partners like Betterment Advisor Solutions handle). What powers @RhineVest is technology that automates much of the “middle-office”

No-code tools like Zapier, Airtable, Bubble, etc. 1) give you the ability to build it yourself with little capital expenditure and no software developers 2) allow you to develop and iterate faster! It also allows the domain expert (CFP, CFA, etc.) to become the builder!

Videos > Text Emails. #Loom videos help us communicate better, both with our clients and with our teammates. We use video to explain difficult concepts or provide instruction. Not only is it faster than typing out a text email, but it creates a more personal approach!

To provide increased #equity in #financialadvisory, we must challenge standards placed on advisors. Instead of focusing on traditional methods of building business (country clubs and golfing), we must enable advisors to do so in a way that is authentic to themselves.

This session by Claire Gallant at @use_commas is quite good about automations in a CFP practice. Practical, detailed, specific, easy to follow, it's for a CFP type practice, but easy to see how it would apply to a CPA firm as well. #engage22
