Today Justin Trudeau finally did the right thing and committed Canada to abiding by the rulings of the Int'l Criminal Court. We applaud this and call on him to take the logical next step and abide by the rulings of the CIJ_ICJ, to stop facilitating a genocide by arming Israel.

The chorus of voices grows louder: Canada must uphold international law. As we challenge Canadian arms exports to Israel in domestic courts, we’re also proud to endorse projects like this to hold Canada accountable through the UN.

Last week, CLAIHR filed submissions as an intervener in Abdelrazik v His Majesty the King et al, which concerns the torture and arbitrary detention of a Canadian abroad. CLAIHR focused its submissions on complicity in torture and arbitrary detention under international law.
