The Cease & Desist Zone was passed by the DOS after the Coalition for Community Advancement submitted letters stating that solicitations are an issue in the community. I, along with many others, volunteered and went door to door collecting signatures and letters to send in. 2/7

And on November 19, 2020, I was invited to the CCA Victory Celebration to speak, in acknowledgment of my time and efforts contributed to The Cease and Desist Zone. 3/7

This was an important opportunity in the community, I worked with my campaign to advance the efforts by submitting 700 petitions in a short period of time. 4/7

I wanted to show my support to this coalition in a real way by going out and doing the work. I do not agree with the accusations that I "was not there”. 5/7

I am not here to take credit for the coalition and the many efforts that have been done to pass and create The Cease & Desist Zone. I believe this is incredibly important for protecting homeowners and the people of Brooklyn. 6/7
