The City of Aiken announces a water main break located at 135 MARMITON COURT and BUCKHAR LANE. There are approximately 6 impacted service connections with low pressure or no water. A Boil Water Advisory will be issued once the water service is fully restored.

Starting October 9th, intersection work will be taking place at Archdale Drive SW and Broughton Drive in Plantation South. This project is expected to be completed in a two week period. The intersection at Broughton Dr and Archdale will be closed for the 1st portion of this work.

Wednesday, August 28: A traffic advisory due to repair work repair at CHESTERFIELD ST. S and RICHLAND AVE.. Motorists are urged to drive cautiously in this area, obey traffic signs and flagmen or find an alternate route to avoid unnecessary delays and congestion.

A General Contractor will have a portion of Neilson Street temporarily blocked for 48 hours starting Thursday Morning (1/30th until 1/31st). Signage will be in place to notify citizens driving in the area and how to detour.
