Last night we responded to a downed tree limb on Lincoln St that took down a power line. The reason this is news worthy is that this tree is one of the oldest in Bloomington. As the story goes Abraham Lincoln stood by this tree and spoke on one of his trips through Bloomington.

Crews worked a car fire earlier today along the highway following a Collision. Thankfully no one was reportedly hurt. This was a dual response with Bloomington Township Fire Protection District
