💯 agree. These are still draftable NFL players (we can argue value or comparisons etc but imo that point is moot). Putting them in position to succeed is on the coaches. They haven’t done that & seem to completely skirt their significance in that regard. Chi/NE/LAC =coach impact

You expect a DC to fix this in-season. If it continues, it’s reasonable to expect a HC to fix it in the off-season. 2 years on this run? That’s when accountability needs to go higher up. That’s the most frustrating part.

QB1 covered up so much for this current team. If it wasn’t evident last year because of the wins, it should be clear as day now. What’s Joe Burrow’s record? What’s the current staff’s record in games not featuring one of the top 3 QBs in the NFL? Accountability

Just for academic purposes (it’s a long shot)-for Bengals to make the playoffs the following 3 things need to happen: 1. Bengals win out 2. Pit lose 3 out of 4 - vs Mia, Det, Cle, Bal 3. Ravens (in addition to loss to us if we win out) lose 1 of 3 games - vs NE, GB, Pit

Wishing the best for him. Clearly a change of scenery was needed and he’d exhausted the opportunities provided to him as a Bengal.

The end of the season came faster than we expected. If you would have said Joe busted his tail to come back, and we still missed the playoffs… well… here’s to hoping for off season changes that make this the last season that happens.

It may be it for Rodgers. If so his final pass was a pick-6 in a game he didn’t throw a TD pass to his own team. If that’s it for Tomlin that means ZT would be the longest tenured coach in the AFCN with Harbaugh, Tomlin, Stefanski, and several others available.

Rest of the teams resetting because entire AFCN under achieved. Steelers lost in 1st rd with 42 yr old QB. Ravens missed playoffs due to missed FG despite Lamar injuries. Bengals missed playoffs in week 15 and 3x in a row. We figure this time it’ll work though 😉!
