Big news today regarding construction of the Ecusta Trail from Hendersonville to Brevard. We’re receiving $45 million in federal RAISE and NSFLTP grants. The bid process to build the trail starts tomorrow on a section from Hendersonville to Etowah.

Having handled disaster relief while serving in the legislature, my expectation is that state relief is on its way when the legislature is back. However, many state employees are already engaged whether in Emergency Management or with the Highway Patrol and NCDOT. Thanks!
