Substate Results Round 1: Columbus Catholic 5, Iowa Falls-Alden 0 Round 2: Columbus Catholic 5, Grundy Center 3 The Sailors advance to the substate final round on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. in Decorah!

Our season ended today with a 5-1 loss to an excellent Decorah team. The Sailors were more competitive in every match compared to our meet vs. Vikings two weeks ago. bit.ly/4muNI13

This year's team finished 9-7 and went undefeated against conference opponents. All losses were to state qualifiers plus a competitive 5-4 loss to a good Camanche team that finished 11-2. The guys represented CHS tennis well. I'm proud of their progress and how they competed.
