T’Was the night before the #Election and all through the house…

#VeteransDay is shit to me because we do not take care of our veterans in this country. I speak from experience as my father gave 30+ years to the army to be dismissed upon retiring. We must do better. They took care of us, we are supposed to take care of them when they return.

Today I’m reminded how my cousin was murdered as a young marine in Iraq and this country refused to acknowledge him as a fallen soldier because the circumstances of his murder. SIGH. Fuck it !!!! #veteransday
