Incredibly sad to hear about Chadwick Boseman. An actor of incredible range and versatility, who has left behind some wonderful films. R.I.P

I wish there were an edit button for four years of my 20s, three years of my 30s, and two years of my 40s. Also my entire teenage and college years.

Yesterday myself and Lewis Benjamin Peck won the Best Sound Award for short film we made for 48 Hour Film Project, and we were also nominated in two other categories. Bloody ecstatic to win, and wonderful to watch everyone else’s exceptional films!

Confirmed: London in Tier 3, theatres closed again from Wednesday. There is no logic. There is no common sense. Theatres are the safest and best ordered places. Look at Royal Albert Hall vs a supermarket or Central London. Boris, read this: londontheatrereviews.co.uk/post.cfm?p=5010

I was tagged in a tweet suggesting that theatre is being shut down as part of a conspiracy and that Covid is a fake virus. These aren’t my views. There’s nothing fake about Covid. It’s tragic that theatre is affected but other industries are being devastated too. Be compassionate

After several months of writer’s block I’ve finally found an idea that works. Can’t describe how bloody relieved/excited/nervous I am to get stuck into it!

We're loving the brilliant ChristopherWalthorne as Henry Higgins in DOT Productions #Pygmalion "Walthorne is a standout, who convincingly portrayed Henry Higgins. He captures the unlikability of the character vividly." (Broadway World) Closing Saturday: tabard.org.uk/whats-on/pygma…

Just finished My Mind To Me A Kingdom Is by Paul Stanbridge. A peculiar, idiosyncratic and deeply moving look at the obsessions that consume us in the face of loss. This wonderful book from Galley Beggar Press is definitely worth a read.

When I turned 30, I thought ‘I won’t get old, age is just a number’. Cut to today, where a £25 bargain on two framed pictures and a pair of cushions nearly wiped me out with unbridled excitement.

When I’m writing, I’m usually lucky if I manage to produce 500 good words a day, but yesterday I managed to write just over 3000! Very excited to leap back into it today 😃

Last night I saw The Last Laugh at Tabard Theatre. A wonderfully funny and poignant play. If you want to see two brilliant actors and a fantastic piece of writing, you really shouldn’t miss it. Congrats to Simon Reilly and the entire creative team.

A few years ago I wrote a monologue called ‘I Wonder’ for the audio series On Another Wavelength. Here’s a short clip. Thanks to Evcol The Audio Experience for posting!

The decision to give Jeanne Dielman the number 1 slot in Sight & Sound’s recent poll is a bold, brilliant and totally out-of-left-field move. Thank you Sight and Sound magazine for bringing more attention to this stunning, provocative masterpiece.

I was very lucky to star in this film alongside the wonderful Carrie Cohen (pictured, gloriously). Working with Richard is always a brilliant experience, great to see him getting the recognition he deserves!
