Played Darkenstein 3D last night. It's a goofy boomer shooter that has the good sense not to take itself too seriously. The mechanics are fine and solid and it doesn't overstay its welcome. It's not on par with Dusk, but it gets the job done. Playthrough coming Thursday.

Darkenstein 3D is free on Steam and is an amusing, tongue-in-cheek sendup of Wolfenstein 3D with a little John Wick and sci-fi thrown in for good measure. It's not as ambitious as Dusk, but it's worth a playthrough for boomer shooter fans. My playthrough: youtu.be/q0qKLhN0rqA
