When you make your presentation in a software only to find out it wanted a different platform. You fix hurriedly to find out it’s on a super old version…. We improvise and make things happen! I love any time spent with Haily Rambo and a packed house at 8:30 on the last day!

I received an email that a few of these ladies came to two sessions of mine at two different conferences and wanted to bring their team to observe. These people from Trinity Basin Prep were so much fun and my kind of people. We loved spending the day with you!

The moment you see this and you feel unstoppable. Then, of course, I tripped on the rug as I headed outside the door. 😂 I’m still going to take the win! In my best Elle Woods voice, “We did it!” IRB approved!

When a legend like the former TEA Commissioner is your hype person, you find a new determination you didn’t know you had. She just handed back the keys as interim supt., she's off to the next adventure, and took time for me. Thank you, Commish, for your leadership and mentorship.

When you miss Wednesday writing due to softball playoffs, you go at it alone.

I appreciate these ladies more than they know. I want to say thank you for all the love and support for the Riesel Lady Indians. We led until then sixth and just couldn't close it out this afternoon. I am one super proud educator.

Entering my final summer of EdD coursework & it’s a moment of both reflection & anticipation. I am somehow still standing, slightly caffeinated, & forever grateful for the Baylor fam. This journey is no joke, but having your tribe makes the load lighter & the laughs louder.

Haven’t really been home much since April, and now that school’s out, I’m still on the move. I honestly forgot what my own bed feels like the last several weeks, but I’ve been lucky to spend time with other educators who just make my heart happy.

Grateful for those who’ve joined my journey. Treyton stender partnered with me to dream big. Claudia C Salinas championed me & our district, listening to my wildest dreams, like meeting John Hattie. And somehow, I met not just one amazing researcher, but two!

This lady never ceases to amaze me. A former TEA Commissioner, educator, Superintendent, and still in the game being an Interim Superintendent recently. To top it off, she conducted our Team of 8 training! Tonight was perfect-full of smiles and great conversations!

Everything’s bigger in Texas, but everything’s EXTRA with Dr. Darryl J. Henson through academics to extracurriculars (& personality 😎). From his impact on MarlinISD to his name on the new Legion Field press box, his legacy is loud and proud. Wishing him all the best on his next adventure!
