Today, Communities In Schools opened their new resource center at Lowry High School in Humboldt County. Communities In Schools does invaluable work across our state, and I’m excited that more Winnemucca students will be able to benefit from this incredible program.

Yesterday, members of my staff and Nevada Dept. of Conservation & Natural Resources visited Nevada Gold Mines near Carlin. Nevada’s mineral wealth is a source of pride, and we’re committed to ensuring it benefits our state. I’m grateful for our miners and their dedication to Nevada’s prosperity.

Great to be at the Goldrush Mine expansion with Nevada Gold Mines this afternoon near Elko. Our state's economy thrives on the hard work of miners, and I’ll continue to advocate for the mining industry and their invaluable workforce.

NV is a leader in solar. Thanks to projects like Nevada Gold Mines’ TS Solar Facility, we're increasing energy production from this renewable source & reducing emissions. I’m proud to have helped fund this project through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
