Senior Shout-Out Time, Folks! First up, Catalina Miller. Catalina is one of the founding members of the DSHS girls squad. She is the winningest girl in school history, a 2X district champ, and a 2X state qualifier. She is headed to Tarleton State in the fall. Godspeed, Cat!

Big shout-out to senior Lauryn Hammond! She is officially the first DSHS girl to join the wrestling team and was a 2x regional qualifier for the Tigers. Word is she makes a mean brisket, though coaches have yet to confirm 😉 She’s taking her talents to Tarleton State in the fall.

Man I love offensive lineman! The realest dudes on the team! QBs- if you don’t hang out w/ your OLine off the field, or workout w/ them in the wt room, or take them out for a burger every now & then- get that fixed ASAP! These dudes should be some of your best friends!

Senior shout-out! Cody Barron is a 4x letterwinner for the Tigers. This year he was a district champion 🏆 and regional finalist, wrapping up his career with a trip to state. He is enlisting in the Marines where he will surely continue to excel! Pics from albertsanchez.shootproof.com

Shout-out to senior Christian Prehar, a 2X state qualifier and 2X regional finalist. He claimed 5th at state this year, becoming just the 6th state placer in school history! Next year he will continue his wrestling career at Schreiner University. Go Mountaineers!

Big shout-out to senior JJ Guerrero, a 3X state qualifier and 2X district champion for the Tigers! He played a big role in the team’s recent success and will be missed. In the fall he is headed to Lyon College to wrestle and pursue a career in the medical field. Go Scots!

Shout-out to senior Luke Norton, a 4X letterwinner, 3X state qualifier, district and regional champ! He was a member of all 3 of the school’s regional boys championships and leaves big shoes for filling. He is headed to ACC to study Sports Media. Thank you and good luck, Luke! 👊
