Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) affects about 15% of women. Obesity and insulin resistance increase risk for PCOS. Having bipolar disorder (before treatment) triples the risk, too. Mental and metabolic health are inseparable. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
