In exactly one year, Scots will be going to the polls. We will be asking Nationalists to back ALBA on the List to cut the number of Unionist MSPs in half and ensure a pro-Independence majority in the Scottish Parliament. 👉 albaparty.org/one_year_to_sa… #ListVoteALBA

I keep telling people it’s completely counter-productive to ignore Reform in Scotland or brand them as the “far right”. They’re going to do well at next year’s Scottish elections and I know young people who are planning to vote for them!

Scotland is subject to Westminster rule with a massive Labour majority cutting winter fuel payments, shafting WASPI women and shutting Grangemouth with 35% of the vote but Gerry is upset if Scotland votes for an independence supermajority on over 50% of the vote

Non Catholics and people that don’t practice the faith on news telling us what type of Pope we need… Our faith is contemporary, not one that changes at relativist whims of the day. I am happy to trust in our Cardinal’s guided by the faithful around the world praying for them.

I think not mentioning VE Day 80 on the front page is a big mistake. Especially when the front page is not anti war but calls for “steadfast” support for the old military order. 57,000 Scots died in WW2. The 80th anniversary of VE Day deserved better.

“ The Tail of the Bank was ablaze with light from multi-coloured fares, while rockets discharged from ships gave a display reminiscent of peace-time illuminations.” Happy VE Day 80!

On the 80th anniversary of VE Day, we remember a generation who chose freedom over fear and society over self. Their sacrifice did not end with victory—it continued in the work to rebuild a fairer country. The post-war social contract they forged taught us that equality, care,

Also our Bishop was leading the Diocese Rome trip this week so I am so pleased if they have managed to be in St Peter’s square to join in this moment
