I bet you didn't know this. Of the top 20 most intense hurricanes to make landfall in the United States, 12 of them struck before 1975. Of those, 9 made landfall before 1935. ๐ŸŽฏ While there have been six since 2005, there were also six between 1916 and 1935. Intensity
